“Healing with a Wink” –

A Light Hypnotic Journey Through Loss

Using a soft, calming tone throughout, pausing gently between thoughts.

**Induction:**

And as you settle back… and begin to read these words allowing your eyes to gently blink…
You might find it curious how even a sigh… can carry away more than just breath…
It can carry a bit of the heaviness you’ve been holding… without needing to understand how… or why…
Just a gentle shift… like the way a joke lands… and leaves behind a smile.

You may remember those old sketches… when things were fast and funny…
People running in circles, trousers falling down, music playing like life never really stopped—just sped up and spun around…

And isn’t it interesting… how sometimes, when everything feels a bit too serious…
Laughter sneaks in…
Like Benny once said, *“I took the wife somewhere she’d never been… the kitchen.”*
And maybe… it’s okay to laugh, even just a little… at how strange love can be.
As you go deeper now… not down… but in…
Like finding an old TV show you used to love…
You sit back, knowing how the sketch ends…
Yet still smiling at every little surprise.

You remember how even when he was running from trouble…
There was always music, always movement…
And isn’t that a bit like life?
When you’ve been left behind…
You don’t stop…
You just change your rhythm.

Maybe you were in love…
Like an old man dating twins… not realizing it till a week later.
Confusing? Sure.
But isn’t that love sometimes?
Full of illusions and surprises…
And eventually… clarity.

And as that realization grows, you may notice something interesting…

And as you continue listening…
It’s okay to remember…
Loss isn’t the end. It’s just a long pause…
Before the music picks up again.

You may feel echoes of sadness…
Your body your face may hurt like a packet of broken biscuits…
But you know…
Even broken biscuits are still sweet…
And you are too.

There’s healing in laughter…
Strength in silliness…
And even now,
you’re beginning to remember who you were *before* the heartbreak…
And maybe,
You’re not bald, love… You’re aerodynamic.”

That sharp ache…
Is slowly softening…
As your mind finds the comedy in the chaos…
The kindness in your own heart…
And the quiet certainty…
That you’ll love again…
Only differently.

In a moment… not yet…
You’ll return to your day…
Refreshed, a little lighter…
As if someone whispered a joke to your soul…

Because healing… doesn’t always come with violins and tissues…
Sometimes, it arrives wearing a flat cap…
Doing a silly dance…
Reminding you that love… and laughter… still live in you.

And when you’re ready…
You can open your eyes…
Bring with you whatever you’ve found…
A smile…
A sigh…
Or simply a sense…
That things are already getting better.
